Le Creux de l'Enfer is an industrial wasteland, an old cutlery which in 1988 became a center for contemporary art in Thiers in Auvergne. For his 30th anniversary, I thought of a retrospective editorial object that re-exhibits 30 artists who have marked the place over the past 30 years. The memory of the place takes shape in a photo album, which brings to life past exhibitions and is an object of transmission for those who have not lived or participated in the history of the place. This publishing project would like to reflect the richness of the art centre's programming and would like to consider Le Creux de l'Enfer as a pioneer in the curation of young artists to become.
