The “Etreintes” (Embraces) series is taken from Les yeux qu'on ferme voient encore.
Here, the picture becomes mobile through a user who performs it, re-enacting the gesture of the embrace and moving it in space, thus playing with the idea of a trompe-l'oeil. The supports are mixed, they can be more or less flexible and perennial: paper alone, paper laminated on wood or on mirror, transfers on textiles or on metal.
